April 21st, 2012 - Ron Edwards Family YMCA - Spin for Kids

This six hour cycling event raises much needed funds for the YMCA Strong Kids campaign. Childhood is a formative chapter in life. The people, experiences and opportunities that children are exposed to have an enormous impact on the adult they will one day become. Arguably, all children are at the mercy of the situation that surrounds them, but we as adults have the power and responsibility to influence their life's path in a positive way.

For those children who have personal factors such as poverty working against them, the YMCA of Hamilton/ Burlington/Brantford provides an outlet of hope.Access to the support and resources that help create confident, empowered young people is made possible by the programs offered at the YMCA. The YMCA ensures equal treatment and opportunity for every child who walks through the door.

The Birbari Wealth Management Group (Michael Birbari) was one of the bike sponsors for the event; the amount donated allowed him to have 2 bikes during his spin time.  The video above gives you an inside look at the event and includes an interview with Tammy Morningstar who is the Centre Manager along with Pat Kelly who is on the board.  Michael has been a proud supporter of the Ron Edwards Family YMCA for many years and looks forward to many more years.
